WarChess is set in a dark and magic world where dwarves, elves, goblins, and strange creatures rule. Looks really ugly, can't change the chess set, no tutorials, a barebones engine (pretty good, i might say) but that's all. There's a budding Chessmaster PS2 community there 🙂 Magic: The Gathering Arena is one of the best digital versions of Magic to date, and Magic is arguably the best paper card game around. The interface seems confusing at first, but I've learned the tricks soon enough. You will find there the wealth of tutorials the Chessmaster series has accustomed us to, and even online play (finding opponents is another matter, but if you have a buddy in Alaska you can call him and tell him to plug in the Ps2 and you'll play). Nice one, even if some of the chess sets aren't exactly playable.
